About the Review System
My review system is a little different than most. I do not
give truly negative reviews, unless I feel an author is being intentionally disrespectful
to the reader community. Even then, I keep my comments to a minimum.
That’s not
to say I don’t point out faults in a book, or that I’ll give a bad book a good review. My opinions are honest, but I keep them as
respectful as possible.
It should be noted that all these reviews are merely my own
opinions. You may love a book I hate. You may hate a book I love. That’s the
beauty of books—they evoke unique emotions from each and every reader.
My review system is as follows:
5 Stars—Everyone needs to read this book!
4 Stars—Readers of this book’s genre will adore the story.
3 Stars—A thoroughly enjoyable book.
Can Not Recommend—The book may be enjoyable to many, but it’s
just not my cup of tea.
Did Not Finish—Was unable to finish the story, due to personal
issues with the writing, plot, grammar, or characters. Others may not have
these issues, and may enjoy the story.
